Festive Evening at a Palais in the Heart of Vienna

This is a wonderful opportunity to spend an evening in one of Vienna’s beautiful historic palaces.
The conference’s main social event will begin with a public 30-minute lecture by Karl Sigmund, titled ‘Hahn, Gödel, Wittgenstein: Tales from Old Vienna’.
This will be followed by drinks and a flying dinner. Experience Vienna’s rich cultural heritage while enjoying excellent food and a pleasant atmosphere.
Mayor’s Reception at Vienna’s City Hall

Experience a festive reception in the People’s Hall and the vestibules of Vienna’s iconic neo-Gothic City Hall. Drinks and gala dinner included.
Eva Miranda will deliver the inaugural Agnes Szantó Address, entitled Found in Translation.
The reception is an eco-friendly event and can easily be reached with public transport or bicycle.
City Cruise on the Danube
Friday, 17 July

This 3-hour boat ride lets you admire the city from a different perspective while taking you from Vienna’s famous Reichsbruecke bridge to the UN offices, Vienna’s waterfront skyline and the watergate Greifenstein. Admire Vienna’s city center and its surroundings in the evening light while enjoying a buffet dinner and drinks.
Boarding the ship is possible from 7:15 pm. It will leave dock at 7:45pm and will return at 10:45pm.
