About the Event

Foundations of Computational Mathematics 2026 Conference

FoCM 2026 will be the 10th iteration of the FoCM society‘s successful conference series, following the initial meeting in Park City in 1995 and 9 subsequent conferences all over the globe.
Each of the previous conferences has attracted several hundred participants from all branches of mathematics that impinge on computation in the broadest sense.
The event’s 2026 edition will be hosted by the University of Vienna’s Faculty of Mathematics.

FoCM conferences are usually organized as follows: mornings are devoted to plenary talks and afternoons to parallel workshops.
The conference is divided into three periods of three days, and each workshop takes place during one of these periods.
The spirit of FoCM is that participants are encouraged to come for the whole duration of the conference and to attend talks in different workshops. Poster sessions are also organized by each workshop.
